DescriptionForging hammer of conventional form with chamfered corners on the main side, plain corners on its cross peen side, and a rectangular eye.Label TextDevoid of any embellishment, this multi-purpose blacksmith’s hammer was likely made by the workman who used it. On well-used metalworking hammers, the striking surface “mushrooms,” where the metal on the edges spreads out and curls, like on this piece.
