DescriptionSilver coffeepot (from a six-piece silver tea and coffee service): Shaped and stepped oval base supports deep oval fluted and paneled body with squared shoulders and incurving neck. S-shaped spout with oval pattera at top and oval cutout at juncture inside of body; C-shaped ebonized wood handle with saddle-shaped grip at top. Domed lid with compressed urn-shaped finial and inset hinge; lid does not have a vent hole. Narrow engraved bright cut border at foot and broad bright cut bands below shoulder and at edge of lid. Engraved on both sides of body with bright cut shield enclosed by crossed fronds topped by a basket of flowersInscribedEngraved with a large, sprigged script “K” within shield on proper right side of body; shield on proper left side is blank
