DescriptionSilver waste bowl (from a six-piece silver tea and coffee service): Shaped and stepped base supports deep round fluted and paneled body. Narrow engraved bright cut border at foot and broad bright cut band at rim. Engraved on body with bright cut shield enclosed by crossed fronds topped by a basket of flowersInscribedEngraved with a large, sprigged script “K” within shield on side of body
MarkingsMarked in relief in rectangular reserves on rim of foot: 1) “L Holland” in semi-script (note that mark is rubbed); and 2) an eagle’s head, cut at the neck and with an open beak, facing left in an oval reserve
