DescriptionOnslow pattern silver sauce ladle: Round, almost hemispherical bowl with long handle terminating in a cast and soldered downturned flaring scroll.Label TextSmall ladles such were used with both silver and ceramic sauceboats. This pattern is popularly known as "Onslow", althought it is not clear where or when that name becamed associated with this scrolled design.
