DescriptionPewter teapot with a pear-shaped body standing on a concave-sided foot with a curved, faceted spout, and a domed lid topped by a wooden disc finial. Its scrolled handle is painted in imitation of ebony and soldered to the body at the ends of integral round sockets.Label TextThis form of the pear-shaped pewter teapot is amongst the latest, with marked examples dating from the 1850s.
