DescriptionCircular pewter plate with a concave rim edged by a single bead, and a booged well surrounded by an incised circle.Label TextThomas Danforth Boardman, scion of one of America's most prolific pewter-making families, had been in the business for seventy-seven years when he died in 1877. In the first few decades of the nineteenth century, he became known for his fine church wares.
