DescriptionSilver and glass cruet stand with two cruets and three casters: fixed cast bail handle with upper member composed of central shell flanked by a voluted and scrolled leaf on either side with scrolled arms angled inward to central post; upper section of central post of inverted-baluster form with end of post threaded and fitting center of base plate; plain cast base plate of cinquefoil plan with plain upper edge and short reinforcing rim on underside; five attached drawn wire rings of shaped profile and conforming plan to accommodate three casters and two cruets; smaller ring soldered to either side to accommodate caps of cruets when in use; rings and base plate joined by four cast reversed C-scroll brackets terminating in shell feet; cast leaf-enclosed asymmetrical cartouche for armorial device soldered to ring for large caster and base plate at front

Cruet bottle: mallet-shaped clear glass cruet with overall concave-faced diamond-shaped faceting; fitted with silver cap.

Large caster fitting front ring of frame; caster of baluster form with cast finial on tall domed cover with three panels of small circular piercings enclosed by engraved paired-line crosshatching alternating with three panels of pierced foliate design with engraved accents; panels framed by engraved paired lines; drawn and applied multiple molding at rim of cover above bezel; bezel of cover fitting within rim of body with multiple molding at rim of cover and at acontraflexure of neck and lower section of body; lower section of body of double-bellied or inverted-pear form; body supported on slightly-domed splayed circular cast foot with molded edge.

Caster 4: Maker's mark on bezel.

Caster 5/6: Maker' mark "S.W" in script letters within a conforming reserve, leopard's head crowned, lion passant, and date letter on underside of caster; Maker's mark and lion passant on bezel.
