DescriptionBrooch: in form of openwork floral spray of pinchbeck, the leaves set with garnets, the flowers with half-pearls; 3 pendent teardrops of garnet and loops for 2 others now missing.Label TextEighteenth century brooches were large, asymmetrical pieces in designs of feather, leaves, cornucopias, and floral bouquets. Many had additional hanging drops of precious stones.
