White tin glaze decorated predominantly in grayish blue with two swans swimming near a house; foreground and sponged leafage in manganese.Label TextThe painting of the swans is on this dish is like that on a delft plate in the CWF collection (accession 1956-320). The latter has other Bristol characteristics, but the building on the piece shown here could also suggest a Liverpool attribution.
