DescriptionEasy chair. Raking rectangular back with straight top rail, curved downward at ends; shaped wings and horiztontally scrolled arms with C shaped terminals over tapered cones beside seat; deep, shaped, upholstered seat with curved front rail; stuffed cushion atop seat; pair of large cabriole legs with plain knees and plain, scrolled brackets on either side; legs terminate in high pad feet with raised, panels on front and sides; essentially oval rear legs with flattened sides and chamfered rear edges, the legs raking to the rear.ProvenanceAccording to the vendor the chair was found in Dover, Delaware.
