DescriptionPlate with narrow rim and no foot ring. White tin glaze decorated in deep blue outlined in black or dark blue with two feeding herons and a flying bird beside flowering branches growing out of a gnarled root; on the rim, a band of trellis diaper with six reserves containing sprouting gnarled roots. Above the flying bird, the inscription "I B M 1697." Five plates from this service are recorded.
