DescriptionBible box. Flat rectangular lid with beveled edges on front and sides; hinged at back with 3 original cotton pin hinges; pair of braces on underside of lid at either end; hinged iron hasp attached to underside of lid at center front fitting into iron lock in upper box section; straight sides nailed together at corners and notched along front edges; baseboard with beveled front and side edges protrude at bottom; "square" iron lock plate fastened to center of box section; interior of box lined with sheets of original white paper block printed in black; each sheet composed of nine different floral designs surrounded by patterned rectangles.
