DescriptionPair of long nosed, short handled pipe tongs; curved and pointed hanging hook extends from end of one handle which is rectangular in section and cut out on inside edge below thick rectangular hinge section; handle tapers in with stepped outside edge narrowing to long shaft which has rounded sides and flat inside edge; shaft bulges out just below flat, oval tongs with pointed ends; lower handle section slightly narrower but otherwise similar to top with friction spring with curled end extending up inside 2 handles from end of lower one; cylindrical pipe tamper with knopped end attached to wider half of hinge on one side.InscribedEngraved "WL 1744" on the outside edge of the lower handle.
