DescriptionMolded dish divided into four sections with flat bases, fluted sides, and shaped edges. Bluish tin glaze decorated in blue with a Chinese landscape repeated in each section and stylized leaves and flowers on dividers and rim.
Label TextSweetmeat dishes originally were made in pairs to balance each other on the dinner or dessert table. This dish and its mate (accession 1960-291) were both taken from the same mold.
