DescriptionSmall one-handled mug with 2" neck tapering from mouth down to squat bulbous belly. Loop handle begins at base of "neck" and descends to lower mid-belly. Belly curves in toward footring. Buff clay body. Slip trailed in dark brown on beige slip for borders at top and base of "neck" and to separate inscriptions. Inscribed: "K", "B", "1726". Virtually all of trailing dotted in very light buff slip. Belly decorated in combed dark on light slip. Overall (but base) covering of yellow lead glaze.InscribedBody inscribed "KB" and dated "1726"
