DescriptionSmall one-handled mug with 2" neck tapering from mouth down to squat bulbous belly. Loop handle begins at base of "neck" and descends to lower mid-belly. Belly curves in toward footring. Buff clay body. Slip trailed in dark brown on beige slip for borders at top and base of "neck" and to separate inscriptions. Inscribed: "K", "B", "1726". Virtually all of trailing dotted in very light buff slip. Belly decorated in combed dark on light slip. Overall (but base) covering of yellow lead glaze.
