DescriptionTeapot: white lozenge-shaped slip cast body supported on three lion paw feet; rolled earshaped handle with slightly curled lower terminal opposite spout molded with a simple tube extending from molded base with key pattern and ribbing; each square side of the body molded with identical patterns of central pecten shell framed with double bands of a greek key pattern separated by narrow S-scroll bands; the bottom of body has a narrow angled greek key band which tapers at 45 degrees towards the flat bottom of the belly; the shoulder angles similarly and also has a greek key band below a narrow S-scroll band. The body rises to a slightly domed lozenge-shaped lid molded with a plain band and two greek key bands; a waisted spool finial at the center. Decorated with thick blue blotches allover the body and along the outer key pattern band on the lid and one splotch on the finial.
