DescriptionSoft-paste porcelain urn with concaved neck, inverted pear shaped body and spreading foot. The exterior is decorated in underglaze mazarine blue highlighted with gilded flowers and scrolls. There are two reserves, one on either side of the urn. One reserve is decorated with an image of a man walking on a path. He wears orange pants, blue jacket, white shirt with ruffled collar, yellow hat with a feather, and a red-violet cape. The second reserve is decorated with the image of a woman standing on a path lined with trees. She wears a dress with red, orange, and yellow fabric, and she has a feather in her hair. On either side of the urn are Rococo style handles with feathered terminals, highlighted with gilding. The molded foot of the urn has a scroll pattern highlighted with gilding.
