DescriptionHexagonal teapot with short straight spout with brown rim, and loop handle. It is decorated in overglaze enamels in the fable style with "The Lioness and the Fox." Showing the lioness seated outside her den with her cub, a fox with a long tail, and blue and purple mountains and clouds. The reverse is a continuation of the landscape with a river, mountains and a castle in the background, and with gnarled brown and orange tree and rock in foreground. Hexagonal cover has a knop finial and brown edge. It is decorated with trees and grass.Raised anchor period.
