DescriptionPew group with figures of a man and woman seated on a bench with high back decorated with incised designs and cross hatching; open arches below the seat; arms of the bench twisted with very dark clay. The fat-faced woman, her eyes picked out in black, wears a cap, tight bodice with elbow length dotted sleeves and black cuffs, black and white striped skirt, and a white apron. She holds a black dog on her lap. The man's wig, in a series of ringlets, is shoulder length and his eyes are picked out in black. He wears a long coat with large sleeves trimmed in black, ribbed stockings, and black shoes with white buckles. He plays a bagpipe.MarkingsNone.
