DescriptionBowl with scalloped edges, faint fluting to interior and distinct foot ring. With underglaze cobalt-blue hand-painted decoration in the so-called "Willow" pattern, comprising a rocky outcropping and bridge in the foreground with a garden in the middle ground, and additional pavilions on small outcroppings in a larger body of water in the background. The whole bordered with a trefoil latticework design in the cavetto, that further bordered with a band of roping and a larger panel of stars on a crosshatched ground; that decoration extending to the rim. The outside with three floral sprays. Thick blue-green glaze puddled over orange-buff body.
