DescriptionRectangular pillowcase constructed of very fine white plain-woven linen. The open end of pillowcase has two pairs of tie-strings to hold the pillow in place. very narrow hems. Marked in silk marking stitches "EVR /6" and in ink "E Van Rensselaer" for Elizabeth Van Rensselaer (1771-1798).MarkingsMarked in ink E VAN RENSSELAER. Embroidered EVR over 6 in gold cross-stitch.
