DescriptionWoman's shoe constructed of green worsted wool damask, bound with green silk tape. and lined with natural cotton/linen. Each shoe is fashioned with high pointed tongue, and latchets over the instep intended for buckles. Pointed toe, and 2"-high, heavy heel of wood covered with damask. Heavy white natural thread is stitched around the heel and the interior sole of the shoe. Rand of white leather between sole and damask upper. On the bottom of the leather sole are three sun-like shapes in a triangle stamped into the leather, a fourth sun-like shape is stamped near the toe of the sole.
