DescriptionLooking glass with carved frame, cartouche at center top consisting of 2 "C" scrolls framing an undulating, pierced field with a ruffled edge, the whole surmounted by 3 leaves; a pendant of leaves and fruit at each side from cartouche to corners of frame; each top corner of frame consists of 2 conjoined "C" scrolls against a background of 2 levels of undulating, scored ruffling; each bottom corner consists of 2 "C" scrolls emerging from curling leaves; center bottom consists of 2 levels of pierced ruffling with a boss at center top; side and top of frame consits of undulating, pierced ruffling; rectangular glass old, possibly original; gilding over frame old and possibly originalca. 1810
