DescriptionTall post bedstead with four octagonal posts, which above blocked section for rails taper towards top; four rails square in section with beaded outside top corner and holes and a channel on the outer side for rope; headboard straight along bottom edge, top triangular, angling down to each side from center; lathe frame sits on iron pins on tops of posts; painted red.

Woods: the four posts are cottonwood, the rails are maple, and the headboard in tulip poplar.
