DescriptionThis train consists of the locomotive and tender, one open box car, one closed box car with sliding doors and a caboose. The pieces including the wheels are all made of wood with painted details and metal wire fixtures.Label TextThis all wooden train may have been hand made for some lucky young boy. The "NCR" on the cars likely stands for the Northern Central Railway which ran through Maryland and Pennsylvania along the Susquehanna River, beginning in the late 1850s.
