DescriptionThe wooden cars are painted black, brown, yellow, red, and white. They bear the names of northeastern U.S. rail lines. Markings include: NY NH & HRR", "New York and New England", "Philadelphia & Reading", and "Michigan Central/Niagara Falls Route". There are five box cars, one flat car and the engine with tender. All of the pieces have flat bottoms with only painted on wheels. Eye hooks at the end of each allow the pieces to be hooked together.Probably 1852-1875
