Pelman, fecit 1724"Label TextEdward Cooper was by trade the leading printseller of London from the reign of James II to nearly the close of that of George I (he was active between 1682-1725 when he died). He published many of the fine original prints by William Faithorne the Younger, John Simon, Bernard Lens, Peter Pelham, and John Smith. He died in 1725 when a notice appeared in the Daily Post of April for the sale of his household goods, including copperplate and prints.
