DescriptionHorizontal chimney glass, frame crosetted top and bottom at both sides; deal carcass with mahogany veneered facia surrounded by applied mahogany molding; carved, gilt spandrel; carved, gilt fringed drapery suspended between crosettes on both sides; three plate mirror with beveled, rectangular center section flanked by two smaller beveled and wheel engraved side sections; mirror plates secured into frame rabbet with long thin glue blocks, triangular in cross section; backboards rest on triangular glue blocks and secured into frame with nails driven into rabbet.MarkingsEarly 20th century label glued to back of top rail reads "Hodges 16./ Old Kealnal-Land/ {illeg.]lass"; "4795" penciled in modern hand on right backboard.
