DescriptionPlate with incised foot ring. Whitish tin glaze decorated in polychrome with a three-story building with corner towers, two smaller structures, a large haystack to the right, and in the distance a folly. Outlined in manganese with touches of yellow, red, and mixed green.Label TextThe attribution of this delft plate to Liverpool is based on the decoration. Shards of plates with this pattern have been excavated in Williamsburg, including one with the same colors at the Prentis House-Russell House site (17DA.0795, 17DA.0796) and one with blue decoration at the James Anderson Blacksmith Shop (IOAB.2326).
