DescriptionBrightly colored painting of a both a country and city scene. Stretched across the top of the canvas is a rainbow in yellow, blue and purple. The faint outline of a train steaming across the sky is painted into the rainbow. Below the rainbow is a city on the horizon filled with brightly colored buildings. In the foreground is a round pond with the rainbow reflected in the water. On either side of the pond and directly behind it are three tree covered hills or mountains. Surrounding the pond are two small outbuildings and two horse-drawn wagons filled with goods.MarkingsWritten in black paint in the lower right corner "M.L. O'KELLEY/1988/NO 15", and across the lower center edge is the title: "THE RAINBOW TRAIN".
