DescriptionPair of shaped wall pockets, one curving to the right at base, the other curving to the left, with leaflike molded projections from the sides and wavy rims. Blue tin glaze decorated in light blue with stylized leaves below the rims and other leaves on the projections and bases. Down the center are three indented grooves separated by rows of dots.Label TextDelft wall pockets with this particular rococo shape are otherwise unrecorded. Like the few wall pockets that are still in pairs, these curve in opposite directions. The thick glaze is more reminiscent of London than Liverpool.
