DescriptionCorner chair: The arm has a heavy rolled section in center which is flanked by two arms that curve outwards on a horizontal plane with rounded terminals. There are two solid vase shaped splats between baluster shaped arm supports at corners above legs. There is a square slip seat. Each skirt has a deep, double lobed shape to conceal the chamber pot. There are four cabriole legs. The front three have stylized leaf carving extending well down the knee. The knee blocks are carved and have volutes in their corners. The cabriole legs descend to crisply cut claw and ball feet.Exhibition(s)
