DescriptionTurned armchair with caned back and seat; back consists of columnar turned stiles blocked at junction with rear and side stretchers, seat, arms, and crest rail, with a ball finial; arched crest rail with inner molded arch continuing down inner rectangular stiles of back flanking arched caned section to rectangular stay rail; trapezoidal caned seat with molded edges; carved arms with scrolled arm terminals supported by columnar shaped arm supports over rounded and blocked legs and flattened ball feet; front stretcher with central double ball turnings flanked by rounded tapered sections; rounded side stretchers with blocked section at center for joint with medial stretcher; swollen rear and medial stretchers.1933
