DescriptionSoft-paste porcelain plate with a line of gilding on the edge of the rim. There is a central medallion denoted by a band of gilding. It is decorated with a ribbed shell painted with tan, orange, maroon, and yellow. The shell sits on a bed of dark red seaweed, a piece of coral and two red round objects. The ground fades from tan to beige. The rest of the plate is decorated with gilt vermiculi (curly lines).InscribedNo
