DescriptionDressing looking glass; pierced cresting with volutes flanking flattened oval cut-outs; central one partially filled with a lunette. Frame with cross-banded ogival moulding; indented corners at top. Bevelled glass, also with indented corners at top. Frame of looking glass attached to post at either side, at mid-point, by brass pins with stirrup handles. Canted quadrilateral piers taper towards top; surmounted by acorn finial. Posts tennoned into top of box. Box has moulded top; shaped front curves at base. Three drawers; two narrow flank one wide. Side drawers have brass stirrup drops; center drawer pulls out by means of key (no pull, no escutcheon). Case rests on four ogee bracket feet.
