DescriptionAppearance: Upholstered easy chair with rounded crest rail, shaped and rounded ears, outcurving arms terminating in vertical arm supports; cabriole legs and shaped knee blocks over ball and claw feet; turned side and medial stretchers.

Woods: rear legs and stretcher appear to be stained maple.
ProvenanceDescended in the family of General Timothy Danielson of Brimfield, Massachusetts. Danielson was active in the American Revolution at the battle of Lexington, the siege of Boston, and at Fort Ticonderoga.
