DescriptionDressing glass, shield-shaped, framed with a thin band of mahogany veneer on deal; ivory urn finial surmounting frame at center; shaped supports, scrolled at top and bottom with turned ivory button on face of top scrolls; bottom of supports attached to case with shaped blocks; glass attached to supports by a pair of threaded brass keys; rectangular base with flat top and straight sides; front of top serpentine in shape; top veneered with a narrow band of cross-banded veneer along edge of sides and front; front of case follows serpentine shape of top and is composed of a pair of small drawers flanking a larger central drawer; each outer drawer has single, turned ivory knob at center; center drawer has small, ivory, diamond-shaped escutcheon at center; base rests on four, shaped ogee bracket feet.Woods: Primary: Mahogany veneer on deal. Secondary: Mahogany drawer linings; deal framing.
