DescriptionPanel handsaw of classic form with a tapering blade toothed along the bottom edge and a slightly curved back. Closed wooden handle held to the blade with two iron bolts secured by decoratively filed nuts.
Label TextOne of the oldest saws at Colonial Williamsburg, its form is almost identical to the common panel saws sold today. Set with teeth of medium size it was a versatile tool, and could have been used to cut wood both across and with the grain.
