DescriptionHitchcock style side chair with cane seat; graining black and brown black; decoration multi-stenciled and striped in gold; decoration of crown-top slat, a basket with fruit and a cornucopia on each side of the urn-like basket; the horizontal slat with shaped top edge has a typical Hitchcock basket and floral motif; the front legs are turned and banded with gold; the front stretcher is turned and banded; there are two stretchers on either side and a simple black stretcher.
