DescriptionA square tile with canted edges and a bluish-white tin glaze. Decorated in blue with a European landscape consisting of a building next to the sea with a ship off to one side in the background. Stylized corner decorations of bee's head or spider's head design consisting of five dark blue dots connected by thin lines in a circular pattern with straight lines extending out from the center.
ProvenancePurchased by Ivor Noel Hume during the 1970s? and used around the fireplace in the James Anderson House. Removed from James Anderson House fireplace during alterations to building in September 1995.
