Label TextWhile Prussia is not known to have directly supplied muskets for the American Revolution, they did supply arms to other city-states that fought on the side of the British (commonly known as Hessians). Furthermore, parts of Prussian muskets were incorporated into post-Revolutionary muskets assembled by American makers, proving their use in America. This musket is identical in form to those used by some of the so-called Hessians, who copied this pattern.Exhibition(s)
