DescriptionLead-glazed, cream-colored earthenware rectangular dish with canted corners ornamented with tortoise-shell type decoration. Splotches of brown cover the entire surface with green and yellow widely spaced around the border and in the center of the dish. Molded rope border around the rim of the dish.
ProvenanceAcquired by the donor (Williamsburg, VA) from Manheim (New York, NY). Given by the donor to the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in 2016 (Williamsburg, VA).
