DescriptionLead-glazed, cream-colored earthenware strainer of a cylindrical shape, the flat bottom rising to a slightly flared and everted rim; the body is supported on three masked lion-paw feet. The body is pierced on the sides with three sets of six holes in triangular patterns and on the base with seven holes arranged in a circular pattern. The entire object is decorated with splotched tortoiseshell colors of black, green, and yellow.c.1750
