DescriptionTortoiseshell-colored creamware plate: circular plate with scalloped rim, the edge molded with leafy C-scrolls and a crosshatch basket weave interrupted by four sets of two inward pointing thistles flanking an outward pointing acanthus leaf (Kuettner P1 in Skerry and Hood Salt-glazed Stoneware in Early America). The entire plate covered in mottled colors green, grey, brown, yellow, and orange under a lead-glaze.InscribedNone
