DescriptionPlane of standard rectangular shape with a coved step on the discharge side and a recut sole. Top and side edge chamfers have been altered, but gouge cuts on the step seem to be original. Fitted with a sharpened iron and possibly altered original wedge. The working-life strip of wood nailed to the lower portion of the far side supports the integral fence.
