DescriptionPlane of large rectangular shape with an ogee step that protrudes down to form a fence and top discharge. The tote, which has a decorative bisectional top, is offset to the right, and sits in a mortise behind the throat secured with a nail. The top and side edges have flat chamfers that terminate gouge cuts on the step. Fitted with a sharpened iron and round-topped wedge. Forestock is pierced to receive a traverse stick, which has been secured in place, for pulling the plane while it is being pushed.
