DescriptionVery small silver buckles with faceted boarder motif. The interior chapes of the buckle are made of steel.Label TextThese small buckles hooked into garters through a buttonhole with the “T” shaped chape or fluke, allowing the buckles to be removed easily for cleaning or for use on other garters.
MarkingsBuckle "A" clearly shows the Anchor for the City of Birmingham England as well is the Birmingham Date Letter of "F" for the year 1829.
Buckle "B" shows the sterling rampant lion
Both Buckle "A" and "B" show the duty mark of King George IV.
