DescriptionPair of silver salvers of undulating circular form, each with an applied rim composed of six shaped sections set above shaped sides which slope into a flat center. The components of the rim are cast, as are its three hoof feet. The bottoms are engraved with armorials at the center.MarkingsLondon Sterling hallmarks for 1737 and the maker's mark of a coronet above "R•A" in relief within a tombstone-shaped cartouche (Grimwade 2254)..
