DescriptionSilver sugar or tea tongs: Twist handle bow-shaped tongs with broad, tapering arms and oval grips stamped with shell drops. Plain bow marked once inside in relief “J R” with pellet between. Tapered twist handles engraved on both sides with bright-cut oval reserves, pendant drops, and panels; note that reserves do not appear to have been monogramed.
