DescriptionA covered coiled basket of round form supported by three hand worked wooden legs. The coils on the basket and lid were formed with rye straw bound together by oak splints. Each leg is attached to the basket with clinched machine cut nails and the basket base rests on shoulders cut into the legs. The lid is removable and has a flange that keeps it in place.ca. 1765
